A Talk and Book Signing / Devil’s Tango: How I Learned the Fukushima Step by Step”

Cecile Pineda will be discussing recent events at Fukushima Daiichi and their implications for the US and Japanese nuclear industries at Berkeley City College, Room 31, at noon, Wednesday November 14th.
Pineda is the author of recently published Devil’s Tango: How I Learned the Fukushima Step by Step. A crazy quilt of multiple voices, the book is the author’s coming to grips with the magnitude of the greatest industrial accident in history.
Berkeley City College is located at 2050 Center Street, off Shattuck Avenue.  This event is part of Global Awareness Week at Berkeley City College and is sponsored by the Internal Students Club, the Comparative Politics Class, The Global Studies Club, and the ESL Department.
