We are honored to host Chieko Shiina (photo above), a mother from Fukushima, who will be on a week-long speaking tour of California organized by filmmaker Steve Zeltzer (“Fukushima Never Again”) and Umi Hagitani of Nuke-Free California. Chieko is traveling the coast of California to talk about the disaster at Fukushima. This will be a rare opportunity to hear first-hand accounts from Fukushima. The film “Fukushima Never Again” will be available. We will show the trailer and a music montage “Sunflower” by the Away Team.
